Steve believes in Education

• Steve believes the best way to represent education in Olympia is by having an educator represent the 11^th district. There are currently no active teachers in the legislature, but K-12 education makes up about 1/4 of the state budget!

Steve also believes in the importance of after-school activities and community involvement for youth. He led a community effort to save the Renton School District’s golf teams by helping raise over $100,000 in a six year period, saving the programs from the chopping block.
