Job Creation

As a former decade-long small business owner of a community tennis shop in the 11th district (Aces Tennis, located in the Renton Highlands), Steve created jobs for members of our community and has been able to develop great leaders. Through a public-private partnership with the City of Renton, Steve has been able to offer and grow tennis programs for the community. This has allowed thousands of people in the community to learn and participate in a healthy, lifelong sport. In addition to the Renton Parks and Recreation tennis programs, Steve hosted Renton River Days tennis tournaments that annually attract hundreds of participants, plus their friends and family members, each year. Aces Tennis not only promotes healthy living for community members, and successful public-private partnerships, he has also promoted positive relationships with other small businesses.

Steve understands that small businesses are the heart of our community. Steve believes in an atmosphere that encourages small business, and sees a need to create tools for small business owners, which in turn streamline the regulations and requirements for all small business owners.
